Re: US & China to sign MEGA bussiness deals on Monday?
The Chinese are looking for ANYTHING we do that they can possibly strip and use.
In this relatively deflationary environment, there are American assets that can be purchased on the cheap. Deals can be struck with competitive companies at bargain prices, while the inflationary picture looks tame. Picture you're frugal aunt Mimi rifling through the bargain bin, bypassing the garbage and picking out the pearls. The Chinese have a 3rd worlders concept of what is valuable and what is fluff. I'd look for them to continue their spending spree, buying anything that has utility with currency that is loosing its purchasing power.

Looking at the actual news - PLEASE please provide an excerpt Mega...
U.S. and Chinese companies will sign over 30 contracts on Monday worth billions of dollars to American businesses, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said on Friday.
Companies attending the signing ceremony include Fedex , Dell, Lenovo, and China Telecom , the business group said.
Fedex? Curious as to what that is since they already have service in China. Maybe a offloading of US overcapacity jets to Fedex China? or some Chinese airline?
China Telecom - this might be real. Fiber optic or some other type of telecom bandwidth expansion.
