exactly what I was thinking. Alex Jones have that ugly, slightly paranoid voice, like a dog sniffing in trash containers and Celente have that even uglier kind of depressed, glass half empty tone that really disturbs me. They are like two rats indulging in misery. However, it's not like everything Celente says is wrong, it's just that he is a disturbing person, and that completely ruins whatever he says, no matter what the message

There is nothing "half-empty" about 20 percent U-3 UE. Obviously, some of you guys are not only clueless what a 20 percent U-3 environment will bring, but more than likely also come from a priveleged background(never been in a physical confrontation) which makes one incompetent to comprehend its ramifications. (Seriously, you previously stated that you did not want to be armed when an armed intruder breaks into your house. That statement certainly qualifies for the idiot of the year award and "ruins whatever you say".)

I think you missed the point, in my thread. Special circumstances takes special action, where normal rules don't apply. If you need to steal to get by, so be it. Some guy shooting or pointing a gun at someone trying to take his car is to stupid. The penalty when it comes to criminal action should be in response to the crime. Some idiot, with a gun, will just increase the odds things ends very bad, and I think the odds is against the house owner, as he will be the one with very bad nerves, and inability to think straight, like a cool psychopath would. Myself, I am a naturally strong guy, have been involved in a lot of fights, I know how to defend myself and the last thing I worry about is someone breaking in. I even have the experience someone is accusing me of lacking, and that have just made my conviction on the matter stronger. I think it' the gun fantastics that lack the experience, it's all in their heads. Someone like Jones, is like spreading trash propaganda on his site, that is meant for the paranoid people out there. It's not all wrong, but he is lacking the ability to perceive objectively like nobody I have ever seen. And Celente is like the king of fear mongering.

For folks who may not have the time or the inclination to watch a Four Part interview of unspecified length, it might be of assistance to know what exactly Celente has said that impairs his credibility.

Anyone associated with Alex Jones (a 9-11 "Truther" nutjob) automatically loses credibility.

I'm not sure I even need to listen to know what he is saying...that side is like a broken record these days...

I enjoy him. He is like a sci-fi show. Gerald Calente's, "Crash 2, the reckoning" this week on sci-fi.

He will be able to point to the "tea parties" and say, "I predicted this." He sort of did.

Maybe it is fear mongering and maybe it is not. I personally do not adhere to a Mad Max scenario because I believe that high unemployment will be different than in years past as there will be increased social programs(welfare, more time alloted or UE benefits) for those that become destitute that will hopefully off-set collapsing employment. People generally will only resort to violence once they are homeless and facing starvation. That cannot and will not be allowed to happen.

I have confidence that the US entirely understands this and will take the appropriate measures to protect its citizens and to keep the System intact.

After all, up to this point, deficits don't matter.

Ron Paul was interviewed by Alex Jones. Does that mean he has no credibility?
