I think the United States has already passed two of the most important tests for a Banana Republic:

First, the Rule of Law is excessively diminished. So, the Prez can now grab you off the street and put you indefinitely in the slammer, even disappear you if he wants. Stasi-like, they tap all phones and even tried to pass an ex-post facto law giving immunity. War criminals openly walk the streets, how many we do not even know since there are no prosecutions and no meaningful investigations. Justice is based on $$$ outlay, connection and influence. If an American thinks he will be guaranteed Justice in a civil or criminal action, think again. Obumma himself is now a War and Business Criminal having evaded his duty to prosecute and aided, abetted and financially subsidized Crimes.

Second, the resources of the country are devoted to supporting an Elite. Just look at all the PAC money and Lobbyists and then look at the Looting Legislation produced. This Elite in now directly looting the US Treasury through their various War, FIRE, AUTO, DRUG, AGRCULTURE and other RACKETS. No meaningful investigations and no prosecutions.

So, even if one thinks the US in not yet there, what is going to stop it from going Bananas? Anything on the radar? I see nothing only more degradation.

Just the two above put me in the Banana Camp. And, as for Saint Warren, he joins Sir Alan in the US Hall Of Shame as a pimp for power, another highly compensated shill for the Street. Just another guy trying to get a piece of the action. Besides, he's from Nebraska, home of No Bananas.
