With regard to Oslo he's probably right. The closest anyone in Norway has ever come to an 'armed intruder' is a short US video showing a convenience store stick-up. It's easy to intellectualize that situation if you've never seen the working end of a Glock. Unfortunately, gun violence isn't so abstract in the US and we have to be more prepared for it.
