hate to bring this up, but this is another one of Peter Schiff's calls.

He said that President Hollywood was just using the Volker brand and that eventually Volker would have to quit to salvage his reputation from the Obama train wreck.

        looking like this is happening.

If the inflation comes back strong this summer and if the world stock market go-dumpies again, the Obama Administration may be in deep crisis. That would be the make-or-break test for the Obama Administration: to rid itself of the eco-frauds shaping energy policy and also to rid itself of the Keynsians shaping economic policy.

Just looking at grocery prices climb this month in Canada, my guess is that inflation is going to be the shocker this summer. And zero interest rates at the banks just don't cut it with prices inflating now. The policies just don't reckon at all.

Maybe he's simply not falling for the ruse.

Volcker is like an ancient rellic. Obama brought him back, there certainly was a momentum for inflation in the start of the election, but I think he have understood by now, that it will be hard to maintain an economic boom and low inflation at the same time. If he was to follow Volcker he could already now write off being re-elected, unless he was able to have a low inflation style Ronald Reagen boom with a strong dollar, and maybe that's not possible. At least not according to Volcker. Volcker pretty much says it like it is. He is even showing his fustration by throwing arguments that goes directly against the administration right in their face. That's why you got to love him. I'm sure Summers and the other guys pretty mutch promise everything and then some to Obama.

On krugman. He is in the deflation camp. However, one year ago he was preaching about 1976, peak oil and stagflation. I like krugman because he have heart. It's a lack of that in his profession. Then he made the post "did I say I? I meant De. In my opinion anyone listening to krugman for investment advice would loose their skirt. The main problem of krugman is that he don't understand how market's work, he don't have the kinetic intelligence that's needed, sort of the same problem Isaac Newton had. The main reasons Clinton wretched Krugman for the Clinton administration was that Krugman told Clinton he would have to make hard choices. The current administration is all about papering over and just trying to move ahead. It's like Summers is standing there with the punch bown, yelling with his cracking stephen roach like voice, wanting to force feed credit on everyone.
