And it's already priced in the deflationary haircut! (Too bad it's not being delivered until 2025.)
Well, I will be 90 in 2025. I just ordered it, hope I am still here when it comes.

I couldn't see any lines attaching the hull to the crane. Looks more like crushing the good ship America...

Why doesn't GM just can all their designers and sub out vehicle design to Italy's DUCATI? Of course if DUCATI branch out into designing cars for the masses they'll tone down their red hot look, but it would be difficult to lose the flair altogether ... 70 MPG, but you can't pile into it with the in-laws and the kids. Nothing's perfect. Or maybe they could put a third wheel on it?

This should bring us on the right path:

Where's the sails? Maybe four decks of trireme rowers too? Thought we were getting away from smoke stacks. Still...it's a catchy cover.

I'm not smiling, it's probably true.

Unmentioned in all the AUTO Crash is exactly how much these Detroit Bloodsuckers take out of the War Racket each year. Regular government contracts too. Must be a pile and at inflated War Racket prices. I would imagine that without this $$$$, AUTO would have been belly up years ago.

It would seem also that in all the Bailout/Bankrupt talk, some vestige of AUTO must be saved to push out all the War Racket toys in the Homeland. It'll all be TOP SECRET of course, just another way to siphon out the Treasury.

I am bullish on GM, but more so on Ford. It's just like this is like 1980 for the car industry, if the economy starts sputtering ahead, you could get wild profit margins in some parts of the car industry, as a strong US economy will give a strong dollar, weak commodity prices, and wild profit margins all over. It's when the sentiment are bearish it's time to be bullish.

However, it could unfortunately be a few more years of inflationary misery, I'm afraid, sort of like the Carter years. It all depends on strong vs weak dollar.

let's not forget obama's plans to buy 17,000 "fuel efficient" cars from automakers by Jun 1st.

clearly obama has never driven one of GM's POS Chevy Cobalt or Aveo. he'll have to replace them in 5yrs. should've gone with a toyota yaris or corolla and with 10-20yr lifespans on them.

oh wait, we're paying for this so what does it matter.

                      unbelievable.
