Errr..., I think I did mention infection control, which includes antibiotics and other bacteria and virus fighting procedures and methods(anti-septic techniques, sterilization, immunity booster, etc.)....

My bad, you most certainly did and you also rightfully mentioned pre and post natal care. I stand corrected.

        Radical stuff, indeed.

Very important not to romanticize the question.

It doesn't matter, everyone who is out primary care comes to see me anyway, usually with a fake social security number and all of us here pay for it.

You guys would be amazed at number of abdominal pains we get just so an uninsured patient can finagle a pregnancy test or the number of patients who claim to have chest pain in the waiting room so they can be seen first, and ahead of sicker patients. I could go on and on but it may make yall sick.

Luke, when you've seen many people die from pneumonia, you realize it isn't romantic. My post was serious.

How did you make it on my unblocked list again?

The doctor says there is a viral--and not bacterial--infection but proceeds to prescribe antibiotics anyway? I believe it's common knowledge that antibiotics are used primarily for the killing of bacteria and are therefore ineffective against viruses.
