Re: Cramer:- Depression over!
“When it comes to the stock market, like it or not, the people are all in,” Cramer said. “And now, President Obama knows it. He’s on our side. And Bernanke’s on our side. And Geithner’s on our side too – with his fabulous public-private banking plan.”
Great to hear they are on our side!

Re: Cramer:- Depression over!
Cramer is to manic depressive. Is he right this time? No way of telling. He is just better at spotting constructive, than destructive opportunities, or a natural bull. He is not the last person in a bull market. He should have credit for that. However he might be the last person out, in a bear market.
When I analyse what people say, and especially those the glass is "half full", buying dotcom stocks at the peak, then loosing it all types are bearish, shorting stocks, and course loosing, as now, it's really time to be bullish, because who else are left to sell stocks?Last edited by nero3; April 03, 2009, 03:26 PM.

Re: Cramer:- Depression over!
Cramer has been right at least for the short term view for stock market. He correctly called the top in Gold lastMarch 2008. He was also right in calling a interim stock bottom at S&P 666 during March 2009. So I would not discount too fast. But I think there is one more Major dip(Gold first then Stocks) which we all should take advantage of.

Re: Cramer:- Depression over!
First, I think of Crammer as an inverse indicator - If he says one thing - the opposite is probably true.
Of course, the employment numbers would be flattening a bit if he was right - that isn't the case.

The good news is that the rate did not accelerate yet more than it did last month. (Household Survey, showed March employment down by 861,000, where February had been down by 351,000.) If more people are losing their jobs each month than the month before exactly how is that a bottom? (don't quote me the bogus government numbers - John Williams numbers are believable)

Re: Cramer:- Depression over!
As Cramerwatch.org showed - before it no doubt shut down due to a lawsuit, Cramer is right about half the time.
Or in other words, he's flipping a coin. With your money.
Why not just put aside a coin?
