    Objectivism

Some people will bend good data and information to their preconceived notions no matter how far from reality they must go. Most of their statements should be judged accordingly. It's unfortunate that they let their bias undermine their own intelligence and objectivity because they could actually be of utility to the rest of us.

So, principle number one, no insurance for maximum damage, no business. Very simple.

So, for example, what would be the cost to insure the nuclear plant above NYC on the Hudson River? Who will do the risk analysis to determine the insurance promium? Corrupt companies like Fitch or Moodys?
So, I asked then who is to do the RISK ANALYSIS? That is the process by which the maximum amount of damage would be determined. No answer forthcoming from you regarding that critical and essential question.

I doubt you have ever even considered the question of insuring these TOO BIG TO FAIL monsters. It only occurs to you now after I made my post. Yet it should be right at the top of the list of nuclear plant analysis. And as I said, nuclear plants a total non starter for me because of the insurance issue ALONE.

TOO BIG TO FAIL, the gift that keeps on giving----disasters.
