      So that explains why metalman is so funny, and further, how he makes a living...he's a writer for SouthPark.

                i loved it. AND i got my wife to watch it and then was able to get her to understand both securitization and the geithner plan in terms of margaritaville-based derivative securities!

                  I found the allegorical humor a little labored after the first couple of minutes frankly. After that, the labored allegory provided an ever diminishing return. By the end of the third episode the allegory was really creaking along for this viewer. One or two minutes worth was good for a laugh though.

                    Very funny. The whole religious angle didn't really fit though. Not South Park's best, but still worth watching.

                            I think the meaning of the religious parable is on a counterintuitive level:

                            Our savior from this crisis is the young generation, our kids, and their sacrifice (of living in debt for the rest of their lives), will pay for all our debts.

                            The message is quite bitter, nevertheless true... I'm going to fix myself another margarita ...
