I'm having trouble mustering-up some sympathy here. There is a reason we are forced to endlessly read the phrase "Past performance is not a guarantee of future results." There is a reason we are taught to diversify our portfolio. There is a reason we are told to get more defensive with our investments the closer we get to retirement age and the end of our lives. We also all know the adage "You play with FIRE, you get burned." These people should have known better."...the western financial system has already failed. The failure has just not yet been realized, while the system remains confident that it is still alive." JesseComment
