The journalists are usually too thick to notice the causes. They show this guy who had a job for thirty years and is now rendered homeless. I am pretty sure he became homeless because he lost all his savings in "The Great Greenspan Housing Bubble of 2001-2007". He probably borrowed too much money and lost it in a foreclosure.Comment

May be, but just think if most had, imagine if the US had NOT out sourced to China almost 100% of your manufactoring.............Sure your have a recession, but a shallow one.

Take myself as a point in case, i got savings..............my company has savings.........i can now run for 2-4 years without a job coming in if i have to.
Once the recession is over & the £ has crashed i be busy again.
