  • best Itulip post to give to newcomers?

    I often find myself trying to bring people into the Itulip community but struggle to find one post (preferably before the market crash) to show how Itulip got it right and their thesis.

    So which one would it be?

    Hi, as a newcomer since 2006, I found that this is quiet good for forecasting the coming events with these posts:

    iTulip forecasts made since the site was founded in 1998 >>>>

    >>> http://itulip.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4381

    And

    for the TA call

    <1> Jesse's Cafe http://tinyurl.com/6o5p29
    <2> K.D. Forum http://tinyurl.com/464osn

    Recession is officially annonce by NBER at Jesse's Café<1> on Dec 1st 2008.
    K.D had posted <2> on mars 2008, 8 months yearlier.

    So, this TA timing signal<2>
    (20 wk & 50 wk ) is worth watching for long terme DIS/INvesting.
    So 2 sites with 8 months differences. Better be warned in advance by following this easy to watch timing signal. Remember it.

    Thank to all Itulip contributors and specifically to the senior Itulipers.

    Keep on learning.

        For the record, technical analysis is antithetical to iTulip's investment philosophy. Our timing calls are strictly driven by our analysis of the political economy.

        If a market is a horse race, TA is a method by which one attempts to figure out the outcome of a race via a tortured analysis of the physiology, eating habits, an genealogy of the horse when what really matters is the determinants of the jockey: his thinking, reactions, history, and sponsors.

          Although I agree with your perspective of TA;
          You might want to search for a better analogy.
