Is it wrong that I got a visceral reaction from both John Stewart AND Santenelli? They both seem to be saying wrong equals right as long as the other guy is wrong.
As far as Mr Stewart goes. Is he the paragon of journalistic clarity that we should hold the media to? Is he a comic or a news caster? Maybe he wants to be both but doesn't have the courage to be either. Take a stand Mr Stewart, go ahead let your inner populist socialist come out without the cover of parody. Lets see how its supposed to be done.
I guess what burns me is that Mr Stewart isn't necessarily against a bail out as long as its to the "victims of the greedy bankers". I think someone in the mainstream should emphatically be against a bailout to EITHER faction.Comment

occdude, Many people that watch CNBC much more than I do have said that Santelli has emphatically been against all bailouts.
Cody Willard on Fox Business is another one that I would vouch for (as far his opinion expressed to the masses on TV)

I've been watching CNBC in the mornings while I get my kids ready for school since the shit really started hitting the fan in September. Santelli's one of the few no bullshit guys on there. It took me less than 2 seconds TOPS to figure out that Cramer was a shill. I actually like Santelli from what I've seen. The other assorted PT Barnums on CNBC just reflect the prevalence of ADD in modern society. Mr Stewart however, is pushing a socialist agenda under the cover of comedy but" kinda, sorta" calling it news.Comment
