    Re: Beginning to smell panic?

This was more fun than the "guns and ammo thread." No offense Ash.

Make that "hanging onto the boat anchor", as CNBC (MSM) is constantly calling a bottom telling us that stocks are cheap, and telling everyone to keep throwing more cash into the market.

As an outsider, reading through this thread provided enormous insight into why you Americans are buying so many guns and so much ammo...

Do you have an Ash bot that sweeps for your name? I'm just trying to get invited into your bunker.

No. But this is a fun thread, and I happened to be reading it.

Regarding the bunker, I think you mistook me. In the event of Mad Max, I'm planning to lead the gang of roving bandits -- not hunker down in a bunker hiding from them. If you read my posts, you'd see that I was talking about (a) the opportunity cost of preparing for a low-probability outcome, and (b) the difficulty of being on the defense. Clearly, the Pareto-optimal strategy is to be the bandit, since then the expense of preparation is minimal (the victims stockpile food and supplies; you just have to have a goofy haircut and maybe some 80's metal rocker clothing), and you have the tactical advantage of ambush rather than defense. ;)

You would lead the gang of bikers like in "Dawn of the Dead." Very cool. I'm going to barricade myself in a burned out "bed, bath and beyond."

You do the Tactics and planning. I'll take care of the hair and clothing.

                      Deal??

Will you have a chain saw for a hand like Ash in "Evil Dead 3."

Wrong, this is it. (1600M) note: a mile is 1609 meters

Well as long as you use these (which of course, I DO)

Please note: I HIGHLY recommend Heir Moeller, he set the world record for smallest group at 1000M with his LM-105 8.5mm projectile.

                              Cheers.

They have sheets there, and fans. Just be careful to be somewhere safe when the sheets hit the fans!
