Those insects are might tasty but somewhat expensive. Hunting is usually best around dinner time at a ***** restaurant. They don't tell the customers this:

"Lobsters are part of the Arthropoda phylum. They are related to insects! Like insects, they have an exoskeleton. Like most arthropods, the lobster is bilateral. That means that if you cut a lobster in half from head to tail, the two halves would be exactly the same!"

      Hi petertribo,

The bilateral symmetry among humans settled quite a few disputes among cannibals.

Have no fear with a sniper rifle that will shoot .25 MOA to 1600 Meters! (with armor piercing ammunition, that is)

        May I also recommend

When the dead come back to life to eat our brains, then I will be glad I took your advice.

No go. Standard protocol says shotgun for zombies.

Or, if you want a more modern treatment of weapon effects on zombies, refer to World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. It has a good discussion of the limitations of conventional weapons when fighting zombies, and how both weapons and tactics must be modified.

Actually, for a tongue-in-cheek book, World War Z is surprisingly well written.

                Re: Beginning to smell panic?

The IMF / CBs could start selling gold in order to encourage people to avoid hoarding a dead, useless metal.

To imagine that this outcome is somehow impossible or even highly unlikely is to be delusional. It is a definite possibility.

If people start moving en masse into a non fiat currency, that could really risk massive inflation as we create this huge run on fiat currencies. Selling gold is definitely one way to discourage folks from doing something like that.

Don't the CBs actually want inflation? At least the CBs of the indebted developed economy nations...

                    Re: Beginning to smell panic?

I loved World War z. I have spent about as much time preparing in my head for the Zombie War as I have for financial collapse. I think that they are the same. Of course, I'm not surprised to find a zombie fan on this board. Doomer!
