Side note: Isn't the fiction of each administration having to have 'its war' a marvelous PR device. Remember Bush was invading Iraq to one up Daddy ;) Now O-Bomb-A has his too.

From the above I fairly infer that the whole Government System of Secrecy Classification does not work anymore. So, now to replace it we have a system of "On my honor...", "Cross my fingers and hope to die...", "On my mother's grave..." So, just like the Civilian Rule Of Law has been trashed so has the Military.

At the very least it shows these War Racketeers don't trust each other.

I agree, there is 0% chance of the USA winning a war against Afghanistan because an Afgan war is never "against Afghanistan".

It is simply the battle field for other powers. Has been for centuries.

The real question is who excatly is America fighting in Afghanistan? Pakistan and Iran? Islam? Are China and Russia also players?

An Afghan will simply take both sides in any war. And will always end up on the side that is winning.

Opium and war, that is what they do for a living. They are pros.
