Here is a quick update on HCR-6, http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/legi...9/HCR0006.html
It was voted and passed out of committee with a vote of "ITL" which is essentially a "NO" vote. Democrats voted party line against and I'm baffled as to why, since it isn't even close to being a partisan issue.
There is a rally at the state capital planned for March 4th to try and change some votes in a general vote planned to overturn this vote.
There were several state representatives and one state senator (Sen Denley) who endorsed this legislation.
Last week, Sen Denley was arrested for DUI and promptly quit his senate post.
NH Liberty.org, the organization that is one of the central points for citizens to get information on this resolution and organize support for the resolution, has been disabled as of this morning, I hadn't checked it for several days so not sure when it went off the air or for how long.
