Denninger can be fun to read, but I agree that the short-term market forecasts over there leave a bit to be desired. He's given his "this is the big one" message a few too many times. I've made the mistake of "glancing" at his column before going to bed (since he tends to post it late in the evening), and then staying up too late reading it and the associated replies.

Let's not, however, forget the cynic's lesson from "the boy who cried wolf" story. Eventually, there was a wolf in the pasture, and the boy's flock did get eaten.

As the only astrologer on ITulip I should mention that I am seeing the signs that the whole global economy is about to crash. The Earth/Sun moved into the sign Pisces yesterday and to you uninitiated folks, Pisces represents DISSOLUTION. With everything literally hanging by a thread, I would expect the dissolving effect of Pisces to bring about a systemic colapse. Of course Gold and Silver will go right through the roof.

As bad as stocks are doing in dollars, they are totally collapsing against gold - down about 30% in less than eight weeks. And it would seem the decline may actually be accelerating. Scary stuff, especially given EJ's hedging on 'no hyperinflation.'

Actually Jupiter IS aligned with Mars. Jupiter is at 10 degree Aquarius and Mars is at 11 degrees Aquarius.
