I stated in my first post to itulip on 29 February 2008 that hyperinflation and war would be the end result of an inflationary debt deflation of this magnitude; it will be.

I agree. And oil will be a great speculation at $30/barrell if civil unrest episodes occur(I would give odds) in many influential parts of the world this year.

You know it's bad when sitting in non-yielding short-term treasury bills is pretty much the only safe play.

Thanks for the post; however, I hate when people say that war is the option for recovery. It is the worst option for recovery. :mad:
