Burning wood chips to generate electricity is one thing. In your case, burning kerosene to generate noise [] wouldn't qualify.

Then again, who knows what Pelosi has packed in that stimulus bill...

What about GTL or synfuel? Can I get a tax credit as a contractor/operator of a government sponsored service (defense)?

I am the one actually operating the aircraft as it burns fuel, and I can ensure a VERY HIGH fuel burn rate, so I could therefor increase the tax credit due by applying more forward pressure on the throttle, right?

Reminds me of a story over Afghanistan. Control would not let the tanker go home till they burned down their gas. Dutch F-16s were around and so they called the tanker to "help-out". They burn north of 60K lbs per hour in full burner and there were four of them. Needless to say, the tanker got to go home early that night. (it took all of 35 mins for the refueling and "BURNING" to take place).

how many toyota prius' vs corola worth of fuel was burned then? why does anyone bother? how long before 'fuel efficient' gives way to 'carjack-resistant' as the big feature?
