    I see the big picture:-

    Many say that we should just parcel up the bad debt, or declare the Banking system insolvent and put it into Bankupty protection (Sort of Chapter 11).

    Fine, but the problem is the nano second you do this the $ worth is called into question................unless the Fed can show that they got a big backer, like China.....its game over?

    Help me out here Metalman/Fred

    Would it be in China's best interest to take a short term position on the dollar when a genuine and honest effort is made to save and strengthen the US banking system and make the dollar a stronger long term goal? That's assuming ya can make the dollar stronger by reforming the US banking system. Having doubts buot that. Think it's gonna take more than just that.
