Re: The French view of Britian

Well I was taught hardwork from the time I was a wee little tot. I never had it easy by any means especially in elementary/middle and high schools. My dad always had me working even though I struggled working for him because we never got along when I was younger. He built a business for the last 27 years and still runs it to this day yet I chose not to enter into the family business and do my own thing.

Anyway, I am american. I do love to dabble in other countries/cultures and in my short life so far have visited many a place compared to the average person at my age. Hopefully in the near future I can move to southeast asia because I do not see much for the United States anymore. Singapore or Hong Kong is where it is at. I do not like France or most of its people, I believe they have thrown their society and culture under the bus in the name of "equality" (whatever that is) and "multiculturalism" but I respect their decision, it is their chosen fate.

If by "they" you mean the political elites and the intellectuals then I agree, for a common pleb like me was given no say in the matter.

of course not, its not a democracy , France is run by the socailist elite and their goal is to get 50% of the population on the government dole or "not paying taxes" so that they can always get elected.....
