  • any iTuliper's using VirtualBox?

I'm thinking of trying out Windows 7 beta in a virtualbox to take a look.

Anyone using this virtualization software? I haven't installed it yet but am hearing good things.

    Thanks,
    CM

I like partition magic from Symantec:

Simply partition your HDD and install 2+ OS on it and voila!

Yes - i use it on my mac to run XP and Vista. There are some limitations though - USB support can be spotty depending on the particular device you are trying to use.

Very nice though and you can't beat the price!

Yes. I got it to work with windows 7. It worked well except for errors that popped up during the install. I just ignored them and things worked.

Yes, I use it to run Winxp on a Ubuntu linux machine. It works good, every once in a while some distributions has a few bugs. I like it.

I haven't given this a shot yet, but VMWare player is also free (not open source though) and has been around for a bit longer is has more features. Things like cut and paste between host and guest as well as shared drives between host and guest are must have features that it looks like Virtual Box is missing.

I take back one of my own points:

Shared folders. Like many other virtualization solutions, for easy data exchange between hosts and guests, VirtualBox allows for declaring certain host directories as "shared folders", which can then be accessed from within virtual machines.

                Oops!

Plus it sounds like it supports vm viewing via RDP which is really cool! I may just have to give it a go for sure!

vmware isn't free at least for me. I paid $60 for Fusion on the Mac. It works very well but has a rendering bug that bugs me and you can't really get support from them without paying. But it is a fine product and I run XP on my Mac better than XP runs on my dedicated Windows machine.
