Hi,
I wanted to ask whether, if on a certain day I'm randomly "inspired" and have an optimal solution, a very good strategy, for an already existing institution (company, industry, marketing strategy) - yet have no personal connections to it - I can still publish my idea in the form of an article or a business model.
e.g. I come up with an idea about where a certain existing business could position itself to improve its profitability and study the case very well, and also write my solutions with all financial details (a bit like in business case competitions - but this is about real cases!)... can I put it on a blog for free?
Can the company sue me? Or their consultants?
I was thinking about this because I would like to make a blog on which university students and other young people who are interested can voluntarily write real solutions to really existing and current problems in the world.
This would probably be a bit different from normal newspapers since they usually don't propose new strategies to businesses.
Are there any precautions I should take?
