Does it really matter? I am not one of the learned posters that frequents this website the stuff that this website has taught me over the last year is truly astounding to me, but even I can see that (for want of a better analogy) when your old vehicle that you have been driving around in for the last 30 years has broken down, you repair it and it keeps on breaking down, you don't continue to keep throwing money at it, you realise it is beyond repair and you send it to the ole scrap yard in the sky, so it is here, it makes no difference who is in power who tries to fix things, it is beyond repair, those with the most to lose, the rich the influential etc are in denial, 99% of the worlds population couldn't give a s***. New system lets move on! The rich pretend that all these rules and regulations devised to protect their wealth are the natural order of things, this is BS***. Darwinism and evolution gives the boneheaded knuckle dragging gorrilla everybit as much chance of survival as the flight footed intelligent mouse unfortunately we think it's fair to rig the system in the latters, well pay back always comes lets hope some of us kept some boneheaded friends we may need them in the long queues for food!!

I agree, it is "beyond repair". But there is still a lot of Looting left to do and a lot of Prosperity to generate for the well connected. Some of the rich and influential may be in denial but many of them know the game is up and are just generating more $$$ now for the rainy days later when they will move to less affected jurisdictions, if they have not already done so. (It would be most interesting to see how RE prices have fared in Offshore Tax Havens and other Financial Flight Destinations. I bet there is no down turn. Check it out, Shiller!)

As a non-influential, unwilling participant in the Collapse, I must follow it in order to best protect my assets from the Official Predators.
