FWIW, we just have to recognize that just as with any other word, the word "inflation" has more than one accepted definition. Open any dictionary, and you typically see something like:
The real issue is not what the word means, but what constitutes an unacceptable increase in money supply, the "general price" level (and what exactly constitutes it), and the means whereby money supply changes. Add more if you wish...
