  • Raw data feeds / archives .. anyone?

I am trying to get as much raw data for prices, tick data, stock markets, economic releases etc.

Basically the more the better, and in timestamp/amount tuples in raw format for download.

Any suggestions on where to get these?

I think this would be a great iTulip feature. A repository of various data sources. Would be really cool to have an interactive charting tool, ala Google Finance to plot various data discussed here against each other. And really dreaming would be able to use one data set to modify another, i.e. show me the dow index priced in gold.

My two main free price data sources are Yahoo at http://finance.yahoo.com and the Fed at http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2/search.
Both have data available for direct download into Excel.

Its huge (over 500k) but my personal main bookmarks may also be helpful - http://www.NowAndFutures.com/bookmarks.html.
