  • The British goverment buys into the Volt (PEEK OIL)

Things not here in Blighty, am just finishing off a few (Very small) jobs before Xmas. I got loonys (People in a panic & out of money) ringing for me to do jobs on credit..........no chance!

The Euro edges up, Got to Hand it to *Schiff*....He made me some cash this year.............Er as well as lost some as well!

    Anyway:-

The Upshot is this, the British Goverment which is far more bankupt than most has decied to "Back" the Chevy Volt. What does this tell us?

    1. North Sea oil production is falling FAST!
    2. The £ is going to race the $ to the ground!

It not so much job creation, its likely to be the ONLY mode of day to Day transport in the UK with in 2-3 years!

Just like the US Britian doesn't make anything like what it should, & just like America.........the rest of the World has woken up!

At 75cents or 85cents per litre for gasoline, if this price holds, there doesn't seem to be much of a future for electric cars.

The cost of electricity is not cheap. The eco-frauds killed hydro-electric dams and killed the atomic energy projects. So, we are stuck with high electric costs.

The average person can no longer afford to heat a home with electricity, so how could they afford to charge an electric car every night? Where is the money going to come from?

Paulson and Bernanke's AMPS cheques [Another Massive Program of Subsidies].

And if that doesn't do the trick we can count on a follow-up VOLTS-2-U program announcement from Hank and his friends [Voters Only Live To Serve Us]

I don't get the concept, what does self-charging mean, solar or does it plug itself into your neighbours power grid ?
