Nah, that guy's too freakin' old and too handsome.

He is 19 years my senior, bipolar and penniless. He is living in what was "my" home, but is very comfortably "OUR" home. You don't need risk to have a relationship. Risk causes unnecessary stress on the relationship. You might wonder why I would be in this relationship if he is older, mentally ill and penniless? - the answer: Because I love him. Both feet are in the door.

Regarding pre-nups and reluctance to present them to a prospective spouse and fiances who completely withdraw from their presentation: EVERYONE ALREADY HAS A PRE-NUP!!! It's called statutory law. And if you divorce, the lawyers will make sure you become acquainted with it.

The only question is whether you want to marry with a legislature's pre-nup in place, or your own.

In response to your unnecessarily acerbic response - you are snapping at the wrong guy. I don't know if you noticed, but if you carefully reread my post, I did not give the slightest hint as to what my own position is substantively on the points you were commenting about. As to what cultural mores or implicit bigotry you presume me to be all "nervous and trembling" about, I do suggest you not caricature those who merely interject comments expressing mild disagreement with PC conformity however. Projecting some sort of male infantility upon those who venture to mildly disagree does not advance your argument.

It didn't seem acerbic at all to me -- I thought she was agreeing with you? Have you left your reading glasses in the car Lukester? ;)
