Thanks Master Shake, but my two options are Kitco and ScotiaBank since I am located in Canada. That is unless Tulving has an office in Canada, which I doubt.

I am currently checking with Scotiabank in Toronto and will let you guys know if interested...

Do traders really buy physical gold? I thought that is what futures and GLD is for; and herein lies our problem.

on the APMEX homepage www.apmex.com it looks like there are many items (buffalos, eagles of both gold and platinum) but when you click the link to that product page they are not there. They have some bars but as best I can tell the coins are gone.

Bullion Direct has had both Buffalos and Maples (gold) for sale for around a week now. The premium on the Maple is around 7% I think.

Someone here on itulip recently suggested www.tulving.com so I did my dd on them. 100% satisfied to date.

Not very flashy - but they deliver, been in the same location/capacity and with the same bank since the early 90's.

Net pricing could be a little better based on the minimum quantity requirements. They do currently have inventory however.
