      seriously, this is a good idea but i worry about the politics. is obama and congress ready to say, 'shut up! the nukes go here, here, and here.' the way china's gov't does? the distributed nuke model is energy efficient but a political nightmare.

          Isaac Asimov wrote about the possibilities of nuclear power 50 years ago in his futuristic Foundation series -- Asimov foresaw an age where house lamps would be powered by mini-nuclear reactors.

          Of course, he didn't predict an environmental movement that would press the federal government to nearly suffocate the industry.
