I've said this before and I think it bears repeating:
The markets going up and down is at least half currency movements.
I am trading in and out of the CAD and into the USD and those markets.
As the CAD dropped and the USD strengthened the US markets increased in value.
As the USD dropped and the CAD increased? Guess what, the US markets are climbing.
People were not losing money when the markets dropped (or at least they were only losing about half), because their dollar was going up worldwide.
Basically, I can't win trading the markets. I have to trade the currency pairs as well.
