turned on the local news station here in boston today....after the huge sell off in Asia, major moves in gbp, jpy, eur, etc.... i caught the following coverage:

1. caught on film - man drives away from local gas station with nozzle still attached to his tank - oh my!

2. tom brady facing complications with his knee surgery

3. "pile of stuff" left in local neighborhood for over a yr. neighbors outraged

That pile of stuff caught my eye.

If I were you, I'd hightail it over there and grab what I could. It looks like you might need it with what appears to be coming. If you don't want it, can I have it?

Sure is hard to break out of the psychology of wanting more "stuff" isn't it...

Yeah, that. Plus I'm thinking whatever it is we might be able to sell it in a few weeks.

In truth, though, this morning, as I was going through my checklist of things to stockpile, I thought of all those stories about old people who became pack rats because they came of age during the Great Depression.

I always try to stay ahead of the curve.

i saw a show on "hoarders" the other day and they called it a medical condition...i call it post-apocalyptic wal-mart
