I'm not sure where to post this, but thought I'd give this a shot. Sometime earlier this year, I'm pretty sure I read a piece on Itulip that had a great graphic of the stock market before, during and after the crash of 29. There were numerous quotes from financial big shots at the time & how wrong they were in retrospect. It was an awesome work. Was it here? Anyone link it to me? Thanks in advance!!

We've run many such stories over the past 10 years, years before all of the many housing bubble sites started up.
For example, this was posted here Feb. 1999:

More recently:
A Financial Market Crash is a Process, Not an EventEd.

Thanks.
I could have sworn it was here & it was this year. It had a nifty little chart of the stock market plunging and various quotes sprinkled into the graphic--all of them were calling a bottom or saying we were fine, etc.

What do I think of the past two days' rally?
In which EJ posted a list featuring snippets from various newspapers in 1929 assuring everyone that the crisis was over.
I posted a reply in which I made a chart to illustrate the stock market decline as those statements were published. Perhaps that's what you were looking for?
