        That link may play interview.

This guy, Hendry, discusses some prolonged period of deflation and then inflation after Fed Funds rates have been at 0.5% or 0.25% for a long time.

Jim i agee with him, but i feel the time line is TOO long..........I say no more than 18 months for deflation to turn inflation to turn HYPER Inflation.

Great stuff Miker. Thanks! No grass growing under this guy's feet. I think he nails it 4X4. C1ue had an analogy of the flood of liquidity being poured into the markets as "cooking oil". They pour it on and pour it on in rivers and floods, and all it does is stink on the embers, and kick off black clouds of smoke. Then two or three or even four years later it hits flash point and you get your bonfire. Also his pointed reference to other currency blowups on the horizon. He is spot on about the future of petroleum. He's got his teeth into the biggest story of the next 20 years right there - and he's early, once again.

I think I've got it real simple:

              1. Inflation on whatever is not purchased with borrowed money

              2. Deflation on assets purchased with borrowed money.

I don't think his timeframe is right...he is saying deflation for 5 years. I don't see how that's possible.

                Great interview. Thanks.

5 years until the high inflation period? I think that this is on the long side and expect inflation sooner (EJ says 2-3 years I believe).
