Asian markets fell 4 percent Monday and the yen surged to a 2-year high against the euro as investors doubted the scattered European response to the financial crisis and the $700 billion U.S. bank bailout could prevent a global recession.

I wonder what will happen this week! 700 billion? Not enough guys!! Let's put out another bill that increases it to 5 trillion and put a gun in everybody's face who thinks differently. If that don't work, I'm gonna jump out of this building!

That is the basic idea. I just wonder what excuse they will use next : bailing out the Fed, the FDIC or the foreign SWF's?

On Fox Business the talking heads are gleefully celebrating the retreat back from 800 points down (and back over 10,000). I seem to remember that after-market trading (correct term?) hammered the stock indexes last Monday. Who is to say that won't happen again today? Either the talking heads and their producers are quick to forget or they think the viewers are?
