Anxiety and panic such as we have had, does not last too long.

Prepare for big rallies in equities.

There will be a huge sigh of relief and prices of everything including I think commodities will go up.

We may have several months or quarters of "relief" before the next wave really hits.

dunno. Maybe something much worse. Maybe the Full Stop. But it doesn't come in a straight line.

We have had enough panic and anxiety and there will be an overflow of positive emotion that could result in a huge rally. And I think across stocks and commodities but not bonds.

And just as we peaked in August 07 and then things started to seem better...for months...so it will go again.

Steve Saville wrote in his subscription service that this is a lot like 1937. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But 1929 was the Crash, but things got a lot better for awhile. And the decade of the 1930s wasn't all so bad for financial instruments...one of the greatest rallies ever was in that decade.

We're talking human emotion above all else and humans can't panic for very long.

So I'd say you're right if we experience a bit of euphoria just before capital controls come in.

but many ways to get there, he says... sudden stop then controls, gov't goons rolling in the mud for a spell first, etc.

shit, i sure hope we get a big fat rally i can short but my bet is not much happens tomorrow. the big action was if the bailout did NOT go thru our fire econ bought and paid for republicratic CONgress. cats and dogs sleeping together, raining frogs, wrath of god type stuff.

yeah, one day doesn't mean much, but as I type, the US equities are sharply down. Gold and silver were down but now they are very sharply up. GOld equities are up. The US dollar was sharply up.
