    What, no Aston Martins ?

Premium brands, according to The Times, ‘were among the hardest hit, with Aston Martin suffering a 67 per cent drop to just 19 cars sold’. Land Rover sales dropped 58 per cent, and Jaguar sales 41 per cent.

There's always an explanation [and when there isn't we can make one up ].

It's bloody likely the famously class-conscious Limey's can't tolerate the idea of buying a "British" luxury car from the colonials...

Tata to drive off with Jaguar and Land Rover

As for Aston Martin...having finally gotten around to fixing the Lucas "Prince of Darkness" electrics, those chaps really should do something about those shoddy original equipment tires [Dunlops, I imagine] they keep fitting under the wings.

The Aston Martin due to be used by James Bond in the latest film about the secret agent has been crashed into Italy's Lake Garda.

100% minus 67% = 33% sold or less than twice the number of actually sold cars. That must be a ratio from hell for dealerships. I assume they have their own arcana, being of the black arts.
