    If I can utilize FTDs without penalty, I can make the stock market do whatever I want!

      From what little I know, no individual could account for even the minimum number of FTD's that are admitted to exist, maybe Buffet, but maybe not even he could do it. http://www.nyse.com/regulation/membe...?date=20080826

      My argument is purely surmise, I certainly would not take the time to even estimate the value of the known, admitted FTD's.

      Where am I wrong?

        Jim - Is the PPT effective? If so why? Think about it.

        3 other things to think about -- Leveraging (let us keep it simple here - futures and options,) being able to utilize FTDs without penalty, and copycat trading
