jk, I can accept where you're coming from. We each have to choose our own path. Personally I'm not willing to take any experimental vaccine when the disease it's vaccinating against has such a high survivability factor, and when there is a large body of evidence showing that successful early treatment is possible. Of course no treatment of any disease is successful for 100% of patients 100% of the time. I'm willing to accept those odds. I'm not willing to accept an experimental vaccine with unknown and potentially severe side effects that unfortunately looks like it's going to be made mandatory.

If they would allow early treatment with zinc and hydroxychloroquine at the beginning of symptoms, most of those patients would never need to be admitted to intensive care.
Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Or again, the certain success of the reduction in deaths from ensuring that the patient has sufficient vitamin D.

There is no suggestion that the new strain is causing more deaths; simply that they are claiming more diagnoses. Then add a front line nurse here in the UK has come forward to tell us that her hospital is sequencing the PCR test 45 times which guarantee many false positives. This is all about selling vaccines.
The new strain is putting more people in hospital.

In London, we have had a doubling from a high base in less than 2 weeks.
I know at least twenty people who have contracted it, and have contracted it myself. I live where the new strain is rampant.
We have had our kids tested multiple times and they have all come back negative, last test was 3 days ago, only my Wife and I came back positive.

Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine are old, inexpensive drugs. They're considered "essential" medications. They've been safely prescribed to millions of people over decades - hydroxychloroquine over a billion times! But suddenly they can't be considered for Covid. There's nothing that CAN be considered for Covid unless it's highly expensive and experimental. Unless you're in a 3rd world country.
This stinks to high heaven.

i gather ivermectin is being used and is helpful. hydroxychloriquine has been shown to be ineffective for moderate to severe illness. it may indeed be useful very early but that's a very hard study to run and we'll probably never have a proven answer. the problem is identifying who is in the very early stage of the disease since most people won't seek care until they're more ill. unless you already have a supply, your difficulty will be getting a doctor to prescribe it for you if you have few and/or very mild symptoms but suspect you are developing covid. a pcr test will take at least 24 hrs [at least that's what it is around here] and by then your symptoms MAY have progressed to the point that hydroxychloriquine is no longer useful. alternately the doctor would have to prescribe an unproven medicine for an as yet undiagnosed illness.

3 But my favourite is the ongoing work of Dr Paul Marik, Professor of Medicine at East Virginia Medical School, who discovered a cure for sepsis several years ago using intravenous vitamin C, Hydrocortisone and Thiamine, vitamin B1. When COVID-19 made the news, a number of very senior doctors joined him to adjust his original discovery to create a 100% cure for COVID-19, for which they were interviewed April 5th 2020. That has since progressed to their MATH+ protocol . . . But let me guess; no one told anyone about that at your place of work? There is absolutely no reason for the death rates from COVID-19. If these protocols had been given wide support there would be no such pressure on the hospital systems either here in the UK or for that matter in the US. And I have to go on to report that the ongoing failures to report such success in dealing with COVID-19 is an absolute disgrace. Here are the Links:

My final question is very simple; do your care about your reputation more than the need to do no harm to your patients?

there are several papers speculating that hydroxychloriquine acts as an ionophore for zinc, and that this is helpful, but this was all in the realm of speculation.

1. mercola is a quack
2. A 'triumph of hope over facts': The rise and fall of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19

Mark C. Poznansky, MD, PhD, director of the vaccine and immunotherapy center at Massachusetts General Hospital, associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and attending physician in infectious diseases medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, and colleagues, combed through the literature in search of rationale for using hydroxychloroquine in the setting of an acute severe viral respiratory infection.
afaik Dr. Paznansky does not have a website where he tries to sell you things.

Like by far the majority of followers of Dr. Joseph Mercola's teachings to "Take Control of Your Health", someone else made to me the simple recommendation to put my email address into his web page and read what he had to say every day; which, in turn, left me to make my own mind up; which; having followed his advice for more than a decade; has changed my life. My weight is now very stable, and compared to before receiving that simple suggestion, (I must add from someone else here on iTulip); I am much healthier. His core advice relates to 1. eating a high fat diet, along with fresh vegetables and fresh fruit, where possible always organic, to which he makes frequent reference to the marked difference between good fats and many seed oils 2. ensuring adequate levels of vitamin D, from sunlight where possible and from supplement during winter months, which supplement I purchase from the British supermarket, Sainsbury's; 3. ensuring we get access to vitamin K2, in my case by eating Brie cheese every day, which I buy French Brie from a German supermarket chain, ALDI; 4. ensuring we eat sufficient Magnesium, which I obtain by my making my own bread to which I add magnesium as a part of my bread recipe. In addition, he makes frequent recommendations with regard to making sure we get enough exercise; in my case I now walk most days for a least three miles, within which I add his further advice for occasional intermittent high intensity exercise, by running hard for 30 seconds, walking for 90 seconds, etc etc cycling that for ~7 episodes, with a final walk home over ~ 1.5 miles to cool down.
Now you call him a "Quack", oh! yes! and what was that phrase? "does not have a website where he tries to sell you things"
He made his profound decision to change direction 23 years ago. While he does not make a big thing of it, I judge he has about 1,000,000 of us "Mercolan's" throughout the World. His web site is published in many languages by his staff of more than 100 mostly young people; and any regular contributor to the comments section will attest, we meet others from all over, (in my case), the English speaking world, every day. For myself I can, (and will attest in a Court of the Law if necessary), that he has never made any unacceptable attempt to sell me anything; where I did so purchase, it was through my making the personal assessment, that to do so would be in my interest; to which I must add, the quality absolutely confirmed my decision. Mostly his books. Lately, organic bed sheets and pillow cases, and yes, the occasional supplement; one being from watching a memorable MedCram http://www.medcram.com video, he had put up for us to watch; about the role of NAC and related action in the bloodstream. In addition, due to the quality of the other com-mentors I have bought a number of books others recommended, for example on the subject of fasting, or again Iodine, and Magnesium.
This web page https://articles.mercola.com/sites/a...niversary.aspx celebrates the 23 years since he started out; and you need to watch all of the video's on that page; including the short video at the bottom of that page showing, more than anything how many people in other nations, celebrate his work. Go on, have the intellectual courage to watch it; you will learn that Dr Mercola is celebrated all over the planet. They are all very intelligent individuals; not one of which would ever call him a "Quack" https://youtu.be/5LYSGCK34QwLast edited by Chris Coles; December 25, 2020, 06:15 AM. Reason: Just to remind to watch all the video's on his 23rd anniversary web page.

Hello Chris: no need to follow a "Messiah". If you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, good amount of animal protein, whole grains and no garbage food and drinks and do a fair amount of daily exercising you shall have as healthy life as your genetic allowance allows. Of course no smoking, no drugs and little alcohol. Sunshine exposure especially in far northern places. I don't think you need any supplements. Living in a not very contaminated place. And, last but not least, not too much stress. And that's about it.
