Thanks, but I quickly found it, that wasn't the point. There really is no point, or deal or issue, just curiousity on my part. I should have sent Luke a quick private message with the question instead of posting it to the thread.

Babbitd - you are the champion of data-mining here, as I think many of us would acknowledge. Thanks for the constant, incredibly voluminous stream of scrupulously documented articles on all the points of interest we discuss, and I'm very much an admirer of your industriousness there. Indeed you seem very much like Rajiv in that ethic.

To answer your question, I did not post direct links because this article should not really have been posted here in it's entirety (if you get my general hint?). I read it, and felt it was such a smart and critical summation of present (global) trends working alongside fiat inflation, that I could not resist posting it here. However such articles posted wholesale to these forum pages are "pushing the envelope" a little bit. Nuff said?

I trust a lot of people got some good intel out of this read however. I can think of few other articles I've read in the past year that have provided me with such clear investing signposts. I also highly recommend all of Mr. McKillop's other articles. He has a very good understanding of the complexity of interlocking influences governing demand/supply, inflation, what inhibits or increases GDP growth rates, the proper relationship between fiat money, government responses, and resources, and a host of other fascinating insights.

I think you're right too Metal. We'll be finding reasons to invade resource-rich enemies within a generation. Look out Canada. ;)
If you cross the border, we will set the tar sands ablaze... Not sure how, but we may do so with a mix of Quebec's maple syrup.

That would push the cost of a barrel to at least $US300 or 30 Ameros.

Great. Probably means we can expect a future invasion of Brazil?

          For the ethanol...

            Welcome to Alberta.

"Hey" plus that would provide some jobs to Michigan auto workers and the like no?
