Here is the link - Ambac trading halted on NYSE

Ambac Financial Group Inc. ceased trading on the New York Stock Exchange Wednesday in a “subpenny halt” after its share price fell as low as $1.04.

The Manhattan-based company is one of several bond insurers to fall on hard times. Ambac has lost its “AAA” credit rating with Moody’s Investors Services, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch ratings, sending its stock down a whopping 99% in the past year.

The New York Stock Exchange issues “subpenny” halts when shares of a company fall below $1.05 each. Trading on the exchange cannot resume until the shares stay above $1.10 for an entire day on another automated trading platform. Shares may also be subject to a six-month probationary period if the average closing price drops below $1 over a six-month period.

How is that news ? Everyone knows GM goes bankrupt since end of 2006. The miracle is how that coyote ugly staged to keep up so long.

Same with F, if a company plegdes its trademark as loan collateral you know they are done. Just wonder how anyone would take that crappy logo in the first place.

The company behind that crappy logo and indebted trademark has quite a legacy...
