No doubt SKODA is benefitting from it's association with VW Group since 1991, and small diesel engine technology is part of that?

Diesel gents - what's the curb weight of the miracle VWs?

The reason I drive the A8s and S8s is not primarily for luxury or size, though I do enjoy being able to drive very fast should I desire.

The primary reason is that I've had now 2 close friends die in automobile accidents; in both cases they might well have lived in a large vehicle.

      1) Honda Civic, driving to pick up her wedding dress 100 miles away
      2) VW Passat, 2000 model, struck head on by a car which crossed the highway medium...a Ford Focus.
