Thought this interviewee's insights cleared a lot of fog away for me personally:
- Fed using the wrong playbook: they're using an outdated model that treats what are structural trade issues as aggregate supply demand issues within the US economy, as if the US was an island.
Sort of obvious once read through but I've never seen the culture clash between the Fed's narrow-minded outlook and the new world globalism has wrought so well captured:
