  • Manipulating the Presidential Race via Oil Prices

Anyone think that some of the oil states are trying to manipulate the US Presidential Race via high oil prices?

Ie, the Saudi's don't want McCain?

If oil prices are low, can McCain beat an Obama + Clinton ticket?

If no, why would they care? I think it's a money issue, higher oil prices translates into more profits.

If there were any intention to manipulate it would be to deter the Feds from printing more money.

voted 'no' but wanted to vote yes, don't want mccain but no, they are not manipulating oil prices to keep him from getting elected.

oil prices are rising because of diminishing supply of the good stuff that can be dug out of the ground cheap.

The Saudis have the same problem as all of us US Americans. We have three idiots to choose from.

(Also I hear they do not have maps, such as.)

It seems that Arab Gulf States would be most happy with a hard line president on the issue of holding the Iranians at bay.

A conciliatory Obama would empower the Iranians, no?

I'm not so sure the Saudis are a big fan of bush and mccain. They threw the middle east into war and instability. And then you have the Iranians and the Venezuleans.

Lot of oil producers are no big fan of the Bush doctrine.
