[quote=metalman;33148]don't let anyone bullshit you, raja. schiff absolutely said... "crash after the bear bailout." here it is...

I heard roughly "there could be a panic" followed by "that doesn't mean it's going to..." when specifically prodded by Cavuto about the next Monday.

I certainly wouldn't short the market based on that guarded "prediction".

Recently I pulled out a recipe for bean chili (with tomatoes, green pepper and corn) I've made over the years. This time I used pinto instead of black beans -- much better. I'm also a big fan of corn tortillas, for some reason (even better with just a little shredded cheese on top, under the broiler). Beans + grains is a full protein, or so I recall (or is that beans + grains+ dairy?). Call me crazy: I am thinking of stocking up on pinto beans. Maybe brown rice too. (For the cancer I eat unhulled Chinese pearl barley rather than rice. Have to go to Chinatown for that -- very spendy!)

Tree - I'm also a big fan of rice and beans or beans in a hundred different recipes. People in central America who consume lots of beans and rice or tortillas are far healthier than many North Americans - certainly in their circulatory problems, diabetes, and myriad other complications of over rich diets. Beans are fabulous food - and there are a hundred different ways to cook them. In fact "poor man's diets" are generally great for reducing the risks of myriad diseases.

You wrote "for the cancer" - I sincerely hope you are referring to the "prevention" of that, and not the mitigation of it. Either way, you have my best wishes for your gastronomic recommendation. Beanz rule! I have some very powerful input on broad spectrum cancer prevention and treatments BTW, so if you have any interest in this topic just PM me and I'll be glad to respond.
