  • Mega to offer Concillation services

Been looking around today to see what work i can do for my fellow English men now that the Recession is apon us. I know that very soon they be having their BMW's or Merc's or Range Rovers taken away.

I noticed a few whom have ALREADY had this tretment and i am deeply shocked by the effect. Why only this morning i had what i suspect was an Ex BMW 330 pilot trying EVERYTHING he knew to keep me from overtaking him in my vRS Turbo (220 BHP) in his "new" Renualt La-goon-a 1.9 Turbo Diesel!

He wasn't either very suscessful or happy, so i thought "That blokes doing his nut, he needs help".

So, i thought i get my Loony Left Labour Goverment to via the NHS to off a Concillation service........to help him thought this period of "Adjustment"........

Ya know... sometimes your posts make absolutely no sense to me, but maybe it is because I don't get strange British humor.

Humour is one of those things that doesn't always travel well. A lot of British (and Canadian) humour (especially political satire) makes no sense to many Americans.

Mega: That looks like Alistair Darling behind the wheel, driving the economy off the track and into the dirt? And Gordon Brown doing his "Screw you Tony. Now I'm Number One" wave?

        Dbarberic -

Yes the British are a peculiar lot indeed. Warm beer, a mulishly stubborn penchant for parliaments, which they even indulged back in a time when most respectable countries were still sensibly moored in medieval traditions. Then other wierd stuff ... some of their more retrograde northern folk still wear kilts (??) on festive occasions?

After millennia of them all marinating on that island together, today there seems a tendency to eccentricity cropping up. Perhaps it's the long confinement on an unremittingly wet, foggy spit of land orphaned from their European cousins that has produced their odd character ...

We Americans on the other hand seem rational and sensible in comparison. If only those soggy Brits had looked to us for a role model they'd have improved tremendously. Especially in recent times, as we are at the top of our game over here lately!
