      The real deal with Spitzer is quite simple. See, when a bunch of cronies in government and industry get together to make money, they all break laws together and are in that way bonded. They all have something on each other. Get out of line, and you are exposed.

      Remember South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford?

      Bad Governor.

        Actually, Ann, there is one. The old Buddhists in Tibet (I believe, I know it's up in the Himilayans area), and it's an economic situation where two men are needed to farm some land. And the younger husband's always looking for a way to establish his own farm and become the only (or senior) husband.

        So no, not even those who live in such a society (1 wife, 2+ husbands) want it.
