Because of the tangible asset link generally required to secure "sharia" compliance, this is becoming a very common method to raise financing for "infrastructure". After all, can't have "The NEXT Bubble" if the people with all the money can't participate, now can we?

I am sure bill has several excellent references on same that he can direct us to...
